ATHENS, Ohio - Alexis Milesky, a future Ohio University soccer student-athlete who is set to don the Green and White this fall, recently became a national champion. Milesky and her club team, the Ohio Premier Eagles, earned a 1-0 victory over the Colorado Rush in the U18 Elite Clubs National League championship game on Monday, June 24.
Milesky played a huge role in the match, scoring the game-winning goal following an assist from future Mid-American Conference opponent Brooke Maletic (Toledo). Read the full recap of the match on TopDrawerSoccer.com here.
The national championship capped off a stellar season for the OP Eagles, a club which enjoyed two winning streaks of at least eight matches throughout the 2012-13 season.
