ATHENS, Ohio – A new era of Ohio Soccer begins this week as first-year head coach Aaron Rodgers will have his Bobcats take to the field Thursday in preparation for the upcoming 2013 season.
New and returning Ohio Soccer student-athletes will participate in a variety of fitness tests Thursday before taking part in a preseason Green vs. White match at 5 p.m. The scrimmage will be played at Chessa Field* and is open to the general public.
In advance of camp, Rodgers sat down with OhioBobcats.com to answer a few questions about the season ahead.
Ohio plays an exhibition contest at UNC Greensboro on Aug. 15 at 1 p.m. before opening the regular season with three straight home matches. The ‘Cats will welcome Indiana (Aug. 23), Wright State (Aug. 25), and DePaul (Aug. 30) to Chessa Field to begin the 2013 campaign.
