Holly Harris Scores Twice to Lead `Cats to Fourth Straight Win
Freshman forward Holly Harris scored the first two goals of her collegiate career, including the second half game-winner, to lead Ohio to its fourth straight victory on Sunday afternoon. The 2-1 win over Cleveland State marks the longest winning streak in eight seasons for Ohio Soccer.

Last time out, Ohio won its fourth-straight match with a 1-0 victory at Youngstown State on Sept. 13. The Bobcats were outshot 4-2 in the first half and entered intermission tied at zero, but Ohio exploded with 10 shots in the second half and put a goal on the board midway through the frame when junior Liz Finley (Mason, Ohio) notched her first score of the season for the ‘Cats. Senior goalkeeper Mattie Liston (Lakewood, Ohio) earned her first shutout of the season and 17th of her career.
After the win at YSU, the Bobcats will now enter Friday’s match looking to move to 4-0 on the road this season. The ‘Cats already have equaled their away win total from a year ago (2-7-1 in 2012).
Ohio has not won four road contests since the 2009 season. The ‘Cats are averaging 2.7 goals per game on the road - compared to 0.7 for their opponents - and hold a 14-6 edge in shots per game.

The Bobcats and Vikings will meet on the soccer pitch for the seventh time Friday. Ohio holds a 3-2-1 edge in the all-time series, including a 2-1 victory last season in Athens.
Scouting The Vikings (5-4-0, 0-0-0 Horizon)
The Vikings enter Friday’s match with a 5-4 record, including an undefeated 4-0 mark at home. Cleveland State was picked to finish eight in the Horizon League preseason poll. Last time out, the Vikings won their home match vs. Madonna (5-1) Sept. 18. The Vikings lead the Horizon league with 61 saves so far this season, for an average of 6.8 saves per game.
Freshman Sarah Kaiser, sophomores Vickie Havas and Brittney Koester and senior Frederike Dubeau all have tallied game winning goals this season. Sophomore Sarah Wood leads the Horizon League in saves and saves per game with 59 and 7.38, respectively.
Ohio opens 2013 MAC play with two home matches next weekend. Ohio will take on Bowling Green on Sept. 27 (4 p.m.) before wrapping up the home series Sept. 29 vs. Central Michigan (1 p.m.).
