ATHENS, Ohio - The fourth-place Ohio women's soccer team will look to remain in the running for a first-round MAC Tournament home game when they hit the road this weekend for games at Bowling Green and Toledo.

Ohio (4-8-3, 4-3-1 MAC) dropped its last two MAC contest but only fell one spot, from third to fourth, in the conference standings. The Bobcats will battle eight-place Bowling Green (6-9-1, 3-5-0 MAC) on Friday at 4 p.m. before traveling due north to take on second-place Toledo (11-4-1, 6-2-0)

The Falcons are led on offense by the scoring duo of Stacey Lucas and Jackie Tamerlano. The pair have combined for nine of the team's 20 goals and Lucas leads the team with five scores and two game-winning goals. Setting up the offense is Corbie Yee, who leads the team with five assists. Three keepers have seen playing time in the Falcons' net this season, with Alexa Arsenault (seven starts) and Christy Zabek (eight starts) getting the most time. Arsenault has 45 saves but allowed eight goals in eight total games played while Zabek has surrendered 14 goals in eight games played with 32 saves.

In their last two games, the Falcons defeated Miami in double-overtime and took conference-leading Ball State to double-overtime in a 3-2 loss in Muncie, Ind.

The Rockets have shocked the MAC this season by recording a program-high six conference victories with three game remaining to be played but Toledo has scored just three goals in its last three games after racking up 14 scores in its first five MAC matches.

The Rockets are paced offensively by Molly Cornwell. The two-time MAC Player of the Week honoree has scored 10 goals this season, the most by a single player in the MAC. The 5-foot-5 sophomore from Pickerington, Ohio, also leads the team and MAC with nine assists for a conference-high 29 total points.

The Bobcats will have history on their side this weekend as Ohio has dominated Bowling Green and Toledo in its all-time series. The Bobcats hold an 8-1-1 all-time record against Bowling Green, with an undefeated 4-0-1 mark at Chessa Field and a 4-1 record on the road. Ohio has an equally impressive 7-3 mark against Toledo. The Bobcats have won four of five games at home against the Rockets and three of five games on the road.

Last season, the final score in both of Ohio's games against Bowling Green and Toledo was 3-0. But only one time did the Bobcats come out on the winning end. Ohio defeated Bowling Green on Oct. 6, but lost to Toledo on Oct. 10, on the same roadtrip the Bobcats will embark on this Friday.

Only three games remain for the Bobcats in the regular season, with the final contest of the season on Nov. 1 at Akron.
