ATHENS, Ohio – Thanks to a very impressive team grade-point-average of 3.38, Ohio Soccer has earned team recognition from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Bobcats are one of 792 soccer teams (220 men, 572 women) to claim the honor for the 2010-11 academic year.

Every Mid-American Conference team made the list, with Ohio’s 3.38 GPA ranking well among the 12 squads. Keeping up a strong academic tradition is nothing new for Stacy Strauss’ Bobcats, as the Green and White have placed 27 student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC teams over the past two seasons.
