Ohio's Cathryn Rogers

Dec. 19, 2012

ATHENS, Ohio – Just a matter of days after Ohio Soccer student-athletes earned Academic All-MAC honors, five Bobcats were recognized by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association. Ohio placed one player on both the First and Second Teams while three Bobcats earned spots on the Third Team following the 2012 season.

Cathryn Rogers was named to the First Team; Paige Howard (Mentor, Ohio) earned Second Team honors, while Gabby Hausfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio), Veronica Rock (North Royalton, Ohio), and Erin Schwenke (Solon, Ohio) were all named to the Third Team.

Rogers (Etobicoke, Ontario) adds this award to her already long list of accomplishments for the 2012 season. In addition to earning First Team honors, the senior was recently named to the Academic All-MAC Team and earned Second Team All-MAC recognition.

Howard, Hausfeld, Rock, and Schwenke were also honored earlier this week, earning Academic All-MAC Honorable Mentions.
