ATHENS, Ohio - A home doubleheader against Wright State originally scheduled for April 2 has been changed to Thursday, April 18, the Ohio University softball team announced on Monday. Ohio and Wright State will begin their doubleheader at 3 p.m.
With the schedule change, Ohio will now host 10 straight games at the Ohio Softball Field from April 9 - April 18. This will be the longest homestand in program history since the Bobcats hosted 14 straight home games in 14 days during the 1999 season.
Ohio will next be in action on Friday, March 29 at Kent State. The Bobcats and Golden Flashes will open Mid-American Conference play with a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
