ATHENS, Ohio – Fresh off of a doubleheader sweep over visiting Wright State, the Ohio University softball team (21-22, 4-8 Mid-American Conference) gets back in action on Saturday afternoon at MAC-East rival Akron. The Bobcats and Zips will begin a two-game series Saturday at 2 p.m. before wrapping things up with the series finale on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Bobcats will be seeking their first wins in MAC play since a 5-1 victory at Bowling Green on April 6. Since that game, Ohio has lost league matchups with Bowling Green, Miami, and Ball State.
