ATHENS, Ohio - Future Ohio Softball student-athlete Sloan Walker is having a fantastic senior season at Tomball High School in Tomball, Texas. The outfielder has helped lead the Tomball Cougars to a 21-2 record which includes a 12-2 mark in league play. Her team is receiving national attention, as MaxPreps.com currently has Tomball ranked 13th in its latest Xcellent 25 National Softball Rankings.

Walker is one of only three players to play in all 23 games for the Cougars. In those 23 games, Walker has an impressive .439 batting average. She also has an on-base-percentage of .458 and a slugging percentage of .485. Walker has scored 24 runs and batted in six.

Tomball is currently 79th in the National Rankings, 10th in the state of Texas and 3rd in the section (Region II).
