ATHENS, Ohio-The Ohio softball team’s doubleheader against Cleveland State, scheduled for Friday, May 7 at the Ohio Softball Field, has been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts, head coach Roanna Brazier announced Tuesday. The cancellation makes the Bobcats doubleheader against Northern Illinois on Saturday, May 8 the final home appearance for Ohio in 2004.
Ohio, currently on a five-game winning streak, hits the road for its next seven contests before returning home to play the Huskies. The Bobcats will host its annual “StrikeOut” Cancer event on that day along with the Green and White Club Tailgate. The tailgate gets underway at noon, with the Bobcats the Huskies scheduled to begin play at 1 p.m. More information about the “Strikeout” Cancer event is available by clicking the link above.
