ATHENS, Ohio-The Ohio Softball team’s regular season finale at the University of Dayton on Monday, May 10 has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled, head coach Roanna Brazier announced on Tuesday. The contest was originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 9 but was moved then due to weather concerns.

The Bobcats (18-27, 11-9) will complete regular season play this week with a pair of conference doubleheaders against West Division opponents Eastern Michigan and Northern Illinois. Ohio will face the Eagles on Wednesday in Ypsilanti, Mich., before returning home Saturday to take on the Huskies on senior day. The Green and White club will be holding a tailgate for all fans from noon to 1 p.m., Saturday and the Bobcats will be hosting their annual “StrikeOut” Cancer event that day as well.
