ATHENS, Ohio – The Green & White Club will host separate tailgate events open to the public in support of the Ohio softball and track and field teams this Saturday, May 8.

The softball tailgate will begin at noon at the Ohio Softball Field. Food and drinks will be provided courtesy of the Green & White Club. At 1:00 p.m., you are invited to stay for the action as the Bobcats will face Northern Illinois in a Mid-American Conference showdown.

The track and field team will compete in the Ohio Open this Saturday beginning at noon at Goldsberry Track. Immediately following the meet, there will be a tailgate party held under the stands at Peden Stadium, just inside Gate 1. All those attending this event must bring a covered dish to share at the tailgate.
