The 2004 MAC Softball Tournament will take place on May 13-15 at Firestone Field in Akron.

CLEVELAND-The Mid-American Conference announced the pairings for the 2004 MAC Softball Tournament on Sunday. Ohio (20-29, 13-11) received the No. 5 seed and will face No. 4 seed Miami (22-24-1, 14-9) at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, with the winner advancing to face No. 1 seed Central Michigan at 7:30 p.m.
The league's top six teams will compete in a double-elimination tournament, scheduled for May 13-15 at Firestone Field in Akron, with the winner advancing to the NCAA Tournament.
The tournament gets underway at 11:00 a.m. Thursday when No. 3 seed Western Michigan (30-24, 17-7)takes on No. 6 seed Bowling Green (29-27, 13-11). East Division champion and No. 2 seed Kent State (26-18, 15-6) will take on the winner of Western Michigan/Bowling Green at 5:00 p.m.
All-Tournament passes can be purchased for $25 for adults, $15 for MAC students with school ID and $8 for children under 12. Day passes can be purchased for $10 for adults, $6 for MAC students with school ID and $3 for children under 12. Championship day tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for MAC students with school ID and $2 for children under 12. Tickets are available at Firestone Stadium box office.
