Future Bobcat Receiving National Attention

ATHENS, Ohio – Future Bobcat Savannah Jo Dorsey, a pitcher at Central Crossing High School in Grove City, continues to receive recognition for her excellent senior season and career. The senior was recently featured in an ESPN.com Mother’s Day series about standout high school athletes.

Dorsey’s mother, Rona (Huber) Dorsey was a tremendous Bobcat Softball pitcher in the 1980s. In the program record books she currently ranks No. 7 in career wins (30), No. 3 in career ERA (1.65) and threw the fourth best single-season ERA in program history, registering a mark of 0.97 during the 1984 season. She was also named First Team All Mid-American Conference during the 1984 season.
