CLEVELAND- Ohio sophomore Robin Miller (Chagrin Falls) was named to the All-Tournament team at the Mid-American Conference Softball Championship, the league announced Sunday evening. Miller was 3-of-7 with two RBIs in the Bobcats’ two tournament games.
She began the event by going 2-for-4 with an RBI in Ohio’s opening contest against Miami on Thursday. Miller finished the tournament with a 1-for-3 effort against Kent State. She also had an RBI and drew a walk versus the Golden Flashes.
Bowling Green won the 2004 MAC Softball Tournament, defeating Miami in back-to-back contests to take home the first title in school history. The Falcons earned the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and will be joined in the 64 team field by Central Michigan, who earned an at-large bid Sunday evening.
