OhioBobcats.com: Why did you decide to come to Ohio?
Krueger: I decided to come to Ohio because I loved the atmosphere and the scenery at the campus. I also love how compact the campus is. I can walk anywhere in a reasonable ammount of time.
OhioBobcats.com: What do you enjoy most about being an athlete at Ohio?
Krueger: I mostly enjoyed how West Green is full of freshman and sophomore athletes. I got to know and recognize the other athletes around my age.
OhioBobcats.com: Sum up your freshman year in three words and describe why you chose each word?
Krueger: Inviting because my team couldn't have been more inviting to the newcomers. From the beginning it didn't matter what age you were. Adventurous because even when I think that I have seen and heard it all about Athens and Ohio, I learn that I hardly know anything about it. The other day I took my first full tour of the campus and saw parts that I had never really ventured too. It was crazy! Hectic because it was crazy trying to find a routine three different times during the
year with classes, eating, practice, study tables, and relaxation time. It was hectic, but almost all of us were able to get it done successfully!
OhioBobcats.com: What was your favorite road trip of the season?
Krueger: My favorite road trip would have to be the Michigan series. We drove right pass my house. That trip was really fun because we celebrated Emily's (Wethington) birthday on the road and her mom made her AWESOME cupcakes and brownies, of which i am definitely a fan of! (I sometimes request my own batch ... That's how awesome they are!)
OhioBobcats.com: If you could accomplish just one thing at Ohio, what would it be?
Krueger: I already have accomplished what I wanted to. I got the team player award and that was a great thing for me, because I have always believed in the "It takes a whole team to win" attitude. I didn't really see much playing time, but I gave it my all on the bench and it was a great feeling having my teammates recognize that. I love them all and it really does take a whole team to accomplish great things.
OhioBobcats.com: You're pretty good at making up cheers for the team. Which one is your favorite?
Krueger: HAHA! Well, my favorite one would have to be, "MMMMM, I
like it like that, she working that bat, I don't know how to act, groundball it for me. Line drive it for me. Homerun it for me. Move it, homerun it for me ..(repeat)" :) I just like that one!
OhioBobcats.com: What is your favorite activity outside of sports?
Krueger: Outside of sports I really like to go fishing. I also love hanging with the team. We are a great bunch and it is always a fun time, but watch out when we compete against each other. It gets pretty intense :)
OhioBobcats.com: Complete the following statements ...
The song I can't stop listening to right now is ..."Proud to be an AMERICAN!" - It's a team favorite and we like to sing it before games. It really puts it all into perspective.
The TV show I can't stop watching right now is ... The Hills - I just love
it! It's like the drama that I couldn't imagine happening in my own life.
My favorite movie of all-time is ... Oh man! Well, for comedy it's JUNO and for inspiratio it's a tie between For The Love of the Game and Remember the Titans.
The words I try to live by are ... Onn the field: NO Fear. In life, I live by the song Don't Worry be Happy.
