ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio Softball announced on Monday a slight change to its 2012 fall camp plans. The camp scheduled for Sept. 15 has been canceled. No changes have been made to the Sept. 16 camp session, which will proceed as planned.
The Sept. 16 session is for high school players of all positions. Campers will spend the morning with focused hitting drills in order to improve their offensive abilities. Following a mid-afternoon lunch break, campers will spend the afternoon playing games. Due to high demand, the Sept. 16 session is full.
Prospective campers are encouraged to stay tuned to OhioBobcats.com and OhioSoftballCamps.com, as additional fall camp dates will be announced when they become available.
Ohio Softball will begin the fall portion of its schedule at the 2012 Ohio State Charity Classic in Columbus. On Sept. 29, the Bobcats will play Wright State, Denison and Ohio State. The Bobcats will then return to Athens the next day to host Ohio Valley and Charleston (W.Va.) beginning at 11 a.m.
