Winter Clinics Information 
ATHENS, Ohio -
Ohio softball presents an outstanding opportunity for any softball player who wants to make a commitment toward improving their skills. The team has announced its winter clinic sessions for Jan. 15-16 and Jan. 22-23.
Individuals of all ages are invited to participate. Anyone with an interest in attending are advised to sign up quickly due to a space limit of only 25 registrants per camp. Each camp costs $115 and includes a camp t-shirt and instruction from Ohio's own coaching staff.
All camps will have a morning hitting sessions. The afternoon sessions on Jan. 15 and Jan 22 will focus on pitching and catching, while the Jan. 16 and 23 sessions will feature infield and outfield drills. Check in begins at 8 a.m. with camps running till 3:30 p.m. From 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., participants will be given a break for lunch. Lunch will not be provided.
All individuals will be required to bring their own equipment and gear and pitchers must provide their own catcher as well. Defensive instruction will take place at the indoor tennis facility while hitting instruction will be in the indoor cages located behind left field of the softball complex. Both facilities require that participants wear sneakers.
