January Camp Information

ATHENS, Ohio - With fall ball in the rearview and the 2012 season just a few months away, Ohio Softball has announced its camp dates for the fourth annual January Jingle. The 2011 Mid-American Conference East Division champions will be hosting camps this upcoming January 14-15 and 21-22.

Apply now because space is limited! The first 25 registrants will be accepted per camp. All ages are welcome. To register, please visit Ohio Softball's official camp site. Total cost is $125 per camp, which includes instruction and a camp T-shirt.

Camp Schedules

January 14 - Camp One
            9:30 am - 12:30 pm:     Hitting
            1:30 pm - 4:30 pm:       Pitchers/Catchers

January 15 - Camp Two
            9:30 am - 12:30 pm:     Hitting
            1:30 pm - 4:30 pm:       Infield/Outfield

January 21 - Camp Three
            9:30 am - 12:30 pm:     Hitting
            1:30 pm - 4:30 pm:       Infield/Outfield

January 22 - Camp Four
            9:30 am - 12:30 pm:     Hitting
            1:30 pm - 4:30 pm:       Pitchers/Catchers

All defensive instruction will take place at Ohio University's indoor tennis facility. Hitting instruction will take place in Ohio Softball's indoor batting cages.

Ohio Softball had a very successful 2011 season, earning two spots on the MAC All-Tournament Team after finishing second at the 2011 MAC Tournament. In addition to this and their regular-season MAC East Division title, Head Coach Jodi Hermanek's Bobcats earned three spots on the Academic All-MAC Team and one on the Capital One Academic All-America Second Team.
