Prior to college, she played at Huntington Beach High School in California where she was a two-time league MVP and first team All- California Interscholastic Federation. A three-time team MVP, Turner led Huntington Beach to the CIF Finals where they captured the league championship. During her two years at SLCC, Turner started 200 games, had 459 kills and leaves fourth all-time with 66 aces over her career. She was named Honorable Mention All-Region and Region 18 All-Tournament after her freshman season and earned second team All-Region honors this year.
