ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University volleyball team earned a No. 23 NCAA attendance ranking after averaging 1,719 fans per game during the 2013 season.

The attendance average was the best in program history, while Ohio's NCAA rank was its best since a No. 21 position in 2007 when the program averaged 1,528 fans.

Ohio has ranked in the top-30 nationally in attendance average in each of the past eight seasons.

The Bobcats put together one of the best regular seasons in recent memory in 2013. Ohio started the season 10-1 for the first time since 1995 en route to a 27-6 mark that included a 14-2 record in league play.

Ohio won its eighth MAC Tournament title and eighth MAC regular season crown, marking just the sixth time in program history that Ohio won both titles in the same season. The Bobcats advanced to the NCAA Championship in December for the ninth time in school history.

The Bobcats will announce their 2014 spring schedule in the coming weeks.
