ATHENS, Ohio -

The Ohio University volleyball team, winners of five of the last six Mid-American Conference regular-season and league tournament titles, has announced dates and other information related to its 2009 summer camps.

In addition to providing a fun and memorable experience for each participant, Ohio volleyball is committed to teaching elite-level skills used by top collegiate programs and helping each attendee become both physically and mentally ready to compete at high levels of the game.

The Bobcats will host an individual skills camp from July 10-12, during which participants engage in more than 15 hours of instruction and competitive play in a setting with a low camper-to-coach ratio.

Ohio will also host a team camp from July 13-15. During the three days, campers will participate in two sessions of competitive drills, four sessions of competition, a session of team-building exercises, a coaches forum and a team tournament.

Both 2009 Ohio volleyball camps are open to students who are in grades 6-12 during the 2008-09 school year. The registration deadline for team camp is set for July 3, while July 7 will serve as the final registration date for individual camp.
