ATHENS, Ohio - The No. 22 Ohio University volleyball team (10-2) achieved success during the non-conference season in large part because of its depth, versatility and breakout performances from a number of student-athletes.
One of those breakout performers - freshman outside hitter Katie Horton (Westland, Mich.) - has been a critical cog in the Bobcat offense. She ranks second on the team in kills/set (2.49) and is hitting a solid .275. She was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 16 after earning MVP honors at the WKU Invitational.
OhioBobcatTV takes a look at Horton's contributions to the 2013 volleyball squad in this exclusive video piece.
