Chelsea Bilger was named a MAC Offensive Player of the Week.

ATHENS, Ohio - Chelsea Bilger was named the MAC Volleyball East Division Offensive Player of the Week by the league office today. The sophomore earned her first league honor while becoming the fourth Bobcat this year to win a weekly award.
Bilger led Ohio in kills this weekend, notching a season-high 17 in a win over Akron. She followed that with another double-digit outing, leading the ‘Cats with 12 kills vs. Buffalo.
Since the start of league play, Bilger leads Ohio in kills with 3.94 per set and is hitting .287. She has amassed 55 kills over the last four matches, and in the process, surpassed 500 for her career
This past weekend, Kelly Lamberti tied for the team lead with 12 kills as she and Bilger combined to hit .455 in the match against the Bulls.
Serena Warner had seven kills to go along with three aces and Faith Robins also tallied seven kills and is hitting .310 in league play.
Leah Petrovich led Ohio with 25 assists, one shy of her season-high done in four sets vs. nationally-ranked Oregon. The senior was also tops on the squad with three blocks.
Ohio is on the road this weekend for Friday and Saturday night matches at Toledo and Ball State.
