The Ohio women’s basketball team continues the early part of their schedule on Thursday, Nov. 16 when the Bobcats take on Notre Dame College. Top-off is set for 11 a.m. inside the Convocation Center and the game will serve as Ohio’s annual Education Day. Sophomore guard Amani Burke (Columbus, Ohio) scored a game-high 18 points and junior guard Dominique Doseck (Athens, Ohio) contributed 10 second half points to lead Ohio past High Point, 64-61, Sunday afternoon in the season opener for the Bobcats at the Convocation Center.
As Bob Boldon sat in his office at the Convocation Center, he found it hard it not admit how different this season will be. Entering his fifth year on the job, he’s taken the Bobcats women’s basketball program to heights it hasn’t seen—a Mid-American Conference Tournament championship, a berth in the NCAA Tournament and two trips to the WNIT.
