MALE SCHOLAR ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Name: Noah Forrider
Sport: Wrestling
Position: 141 pounds
Year: Redshirt Junior
GPA: 3.154
Major: Specialized Studies
Week's Achievements: Ohio redshirt junior 141-pound wrestler Noah Forrider (Marysville, Ohio) captured the 141-pound title at the Bearcat Open on Sunday (Nov. 13) in Binghamton, N.Y. Forrider started the open competition on a hot streak, taking his first three matches by major decision -- 8-0 against Harvard's Samuel Goldman, 12-4 over Franklin and Marshall's Nicholas Maher, and 14-0 over Binghamton's unattached competitor Jacob Nicholson. He took down unattached William Koll (tie-breaker 1, 3-2) and Binghamton's Dylan Caruana by decision (3-2) before taking the first-place match over unattached Rutgers wrestler Mikey Van Brill with a 3-2 decision. The 6-0 day brought Forrider's record to 9-0 this season.

FEMALE SCHOLAR-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Name: Taylor Agler
Sport: Women's Basketball
Position: Guard
Year: Redshirt Junior
GPA: 3.295
Major: Communication Studies
Week's Achievements: Redshirt junior guard Taylor Agler (Westerville, Ohio) shot 4-of-8 from the field and 6-of-6 from the free throw line to tally 15 points in her Ohio women's basketball debut as the Bobcats (1-0) posted a 76-48 victory at High Point (0-1) in their 2016-17 season opener on Sunday (Nov. 13). Agler led Ohio with four steals and also chipped in four assists and two rebounds in 28 minutes.
