ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio wrestling team (6-5, 4-2 MAC) returns to the road this weekend, visiting Bloomsburg (3-9) on Friday (Feb. 15) for a 7 p.m. ET matchup at Nelson Field House in Bloomsburg, Pa., before heading to Amherst, N.Y., to clash with Buffalo (10-4, 3-2 MAC) in the final Mid-American Conference match of the 2018-19 regular season for the Bobcats on Sunday (Feb. 17) at 1 p.m. ET at Alumni Arena.

The Bobcats are coming off a split of a pair of MAC home matches last weekend at the Convocation Center. Last Friday (Feb. 8), Ohio was edged by Old Dominion, 16-15. It took the fifth tiebreaker in the NCAA rulebook to decide the winner, with the Monarches earning the victory based on a 13-9 advantage in takedowns in the dual meet. Ohio bounced back, though, earning a 22-15 Senior Day win over SIUE on Saturday (Feb. 9).

Senior Cameron Kelly (Bellbrook, Ohio) put together a strong final home weekend at the Convo. Kelly forced the tiebreaker against Old Dominion after coming away with a 6-5 win by decision at 141 pounds over redshirt junior Sa'Derian Perry, who was an All-American last season, and tying the match at 15-all. The following day, Kelly set the tone with the match opening at 141, giving the Bobcats a 5-0 lead with a 19-1 win by technical fall over redshirt junior Lucas Bernal. Kelly is now 13-2 on the year -- including a perfect 7-0 in dual meets and 6-0 in conference meets.

Kelly enters this weekend ranked No. 16 in the nation in his weight class by InterMat and No. 19 by FloWrestling. Also ranked for the Bobcats by InterMat are redshirt junior Zac Carson (Akron, Ohio), who is No. 18 at 157, and redshirt sophomore Mario Guillen (Perrysburg, Ohio), who is No. 19 at 133.  Carson is 17-6 overall, 8-2 in dual meets and 4-2 in conference matches while Guillen is 14-1 on the season with a 6-1 mark in dual meets and a perfect 5-0 record in MAC matches.

Bloomsburg enters Friday's matchup with an overall record of 3-9. The Huskies rolled to a 38-3 win over Franklin and Marshall College last Saturday but dropped a 28-15 decision to Rider at home the following day.

Buffalo has won three-straight MAC matches, most recently edging Central Michigan at home last Friday, 18-17.
