Ohio Soccer Selected Fourth in MAC East

ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio women's soccer team has been selected to finish fourth in the Mid-American Conference's East Division in a vote of the league's head coaches, it was announced today.

The Bobcats are tabbed to finish ahead of divisional rivals Akron and Bowling Green. Kent State was selected to finish first in the MAC East, with Buffalo finishing in second and Miami in third.

Ball State was selected to finish first in the MAC West, followed by Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois and Toledo

Ball State was selected to take the MAC Tournament crown with four votes. Central Michigan, Kent State, Eastern Michigan, NIU and Buffalo also received votes.

Up next, the Bobcats open the 2017 regular season at home when they take on Robert Morris Friday, Aug. 18. Game time is set for 4 p.m. at Chessa Field.
