2017-18: At the MAC Championships, posted a season-best time in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.19), in the 200 breaststroke (2:21.10), and in the 200 IM (2:09.28)…Recorded a season-best in the 100 IM at the TYR Invitational clocking in a time of 1:00.89… Posted season-best times in the 200 medley relay against Buffalo with a time of 1:48.88 and in the 400 medley relay against Ball State with a time of 4:02.53… Named to the Academic All-MAC Team.

2016-17: Competed in all 10 meets this season…  Her best finish came at the Marshall Invite where she finished second in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:19.02… Best time in the 100 backstroke was good enough to finish fourth against Youngstown State at 1:09.00… Her best time in the 100 breaststroke came at the MAC Championships where she placed 20th with a time of 1:04.27… Best time in the 200 breaststroke came at the MAC Championships where she placed 11th with a time of 2:17.42… Best time in the 200 IM came at the Marshall Invite and was good enough for fifth with a time of 2:09.32… Best time in the 400 IM came at the MAC Championships where she placed 19th with a time of 4:30.61.

Prior to Ohio: Attended the University of North Dakota for one year in 2015-16… Swam in six meets... Scored 63 points… Best finish was in the 2016 Minnesota Challenge on Feb. 5 where she finished the 100-yard free in 57.04... Best time in the 100-yard breast came at the 2016 Minnesota Challenge on Feb. 5 where she finished in 1:08.54... Best time in the 200-yard breast came at the 2016 Minnesota Challenge on Feb. 5 where she finished in 2:25.42... Best time in the 200 IM came at the 2016 Minnesota Challenge on Feb. 5 where she finished in 2:09.73... Best time in the 400 IM came at the 2015 Hawkeye Invitational on Dec. 4 where she finished in 4:35.84... Four-year letter winner in swimming… Attended College Park High School in Pleasant Hill, Calif. under Head Coach Vicky Dewey, Sunset High School in Beaverton, Oregon and Galena High School in Reno, Nevada... Named team MVP two years straight, First-Team All-Diablo Valley Athletic League, Second-Team All-Diablo Valley Athletic League, was the high-point scorer in 2015 and received the Golden Falcon Award in 2014… Set the school record in the 200 IM with a 2:08.63 time… Swam for Terrapins Swim Team under Coaches Paul Stafford, Doug Reed, and Ray Mitchell.

Personal: Daughter of Ray and Rhonda Ortner…Has two sisters, Kelsey (14) and Ally (22). Plans to major in Child and Family Studies.
