Ohio swimming and diving kick off the 2018 portion of the season on Saturday (Jan. 13) when they head to compete against Duquesne. The Bobcats will also face the Musketeers of Xavier with the action beginning at 2 p.m. at Towers Pool. In addition to this weekend’s double dual, Ohio’s divers will travel to Mid-American Conference foe, Buffalo, to compete in the Buffalo Diving Invite (Jan. 13-15).
The Bobcats concluded the four-day 2017 Winter National Championships on Saturday (Dec. 2). All four who traveled competed including Samantha Glass in the 200 back and the 200 fly, Emily Zimcosky and Corrin Van Lanen both in the 100 free and Emilia Lahtinen in the 200 breaststroke.

Samantha Glass competed in the 400 IM, Corrin Van Lanen in the 100 fly, Emily Zimcosky in the 200 free, and Emilia Lahtinen in the 100 breaststroke.
Two of Ohio’s swimming and diving team wrapped up the second day of the 2017 USA Winter National Championship in Ohio State’s McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on Thursday. Samantha Glass competed in the 200 medley and Corrin Van Lanen in the 50 freestyle.
Four of the Ohio women’s swimming team head to the 2017 Winter National Championships to compete from Wednesday through Saturday (Nov. 29-Dec. 2) hosted by Ohio State. Samantha Glass, Emilia Lahtinen, Corrin Van Lanen, and Emily Zimcosky look to kick off competition at 6 p.m. in the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Heats are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. throughout the rest of the weekend.
The Ohio swimming and diving team earned their first defeat of the season in a 161-139 loss to Buffalo in the home opener on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Ohio University Aquatic Center. Despite the loss, the Bobcats finished with eight victories.
The Ohio women’s swimming and diving team will host their first home dual meet on Saturday (Nov. 4) against Mid-American Conference foe, Buffalo. Action against the Bulls will kick off at 12 p.m. in the Ohio University Aquatic Center.
The Ohio swim and dive team has recorded their second win of the 2017-18 season after competing against Mid-American Conference opponent, Ball State, on Saturday (Oct.28). The Bobcats secured the 185-114 win over the Cardinals by gathering 11 wins in the dual.
Ohio swimming and dive plans to travel to Muncie, Ind. to take on Mid-American Conference foe, Ball State. The meet will take place in the Cardinals’ home pool, the Lewellen Aquatic Center, beginning at 12 p.m.
The Ohio swimming and diving team will travel to Youngstown State where they will compete in their first regular season meet against the YSU Penguins in the Beeghly Natatorium on Saturday (Oct. 21) beginning at 1 p.m.
Three home meets against Buffalo, Marshall and Bowling Green highlight the Ohio swimming and diving team’s 2017-18 schedule, fourth-year head coach Rachel Komisarz-Baugh announced. The Bobcats also look forward to hosting this year’s 2017-18 Mid-American Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at the Ohio University Aquatic Center.
