BUFFALO, N.Y. –The Ohio diving team finished the second day of the 2019 Buffalo Diving Invitational Saturday afternoon (Jan. 12), with freshman Taylor Miller finishing in eighth-place in the 3-meter dive.
Miller (Latrobe, Pa.), the lone competitor for the Bobcats in the finals, finished the day in eighth-place after scoring a 229.15. Miller qualified for the finals earlier in the day, finishing the preliminary round in sixth place with a score of 240.70.
Senior Nicole Hughes (Cleveland, Ohio), finishing the prelims in ninth place with a score of 232.55. Next, redshirt junior Olivia Dillon (Newcastle, Aus.) finished in 14th place after scoring a 210.00, and sophomore Abigail Jordan (West Chester, Ohio) rounded out Ohio's divers, finishing in 17th place with an overall score of 171.25.
The Bobcats'' divers finish up competition at the 2019 Buffalo Diving Invitational on Sunday, Jan. 13 with the platform dive. Preliminary rounds begin at 11 a.m. with the finals to begin right after.
