Ohio Track And Field Finishes Day One Of Shamrock Invitational

Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Ohio track and field ends day one of the Shamrock Invitational with high placed finishes.

FIELD EVENTS

Junior Tajah Haley (Washington, Pa.) finished first in the javelin throw with a distance of 42.66m.

In the hammer throw senior Gaza Odunaiya (Athens, Ohio) placed first overall with a distance of 56.69m. Sophomore Abby Moore (Rootstown, Ohio) finished third with a throw of 49.87m. 

RUNNING EVENTS
In the 200m dash, senior Courtney Guiley (Louisville, Ohio) finished sixth with a time of 27.57.

Sophomore Abby Summers (Powell, Ohio) finished eighth in the 100m dash with a time of 12.58

Lastly in the 5000m run, freshman Madelyn Bartolone (Massillon, Ohio) finished fourth with a time of 18:34.73
