Ohio Cross Country to Compete at All-Ohio Championships

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio University cross country teams head to Cedarville, Ohio to compete at this year's All-Ohio Cross Country Championships on Friday (Sept. 29) hosted by Cedarville. The men are set to begin their 8K at 2 p.m. and the women's 6K at 2:45 on the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.

The Bobcats look forward to racing against over 50 teams including Mid-American Conference opponents, Akron, Miami, and Toledo.

Weather permitting; there will be video streams of the races available on Stretch Internet. The video streams will also be on the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Digital Network, which is available on Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, and Amazon Fire TV.

There will also be live results available online provided by Finish Timing.

SCOUTING THE 'CATS
The Bobcats travel to Cedarville after a week hiatus and competing at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invite (Sept. 15) where the women's team placed second and the men placed fifth overall.

Leading for the women was senior Ellen Isaac (Mansfield, Ohio) who placed fourth with a final time of 21:25.4, 40.4 seconds behind first place.

On the men's side, junior Kyle Bussard (Germantown, Ohio) came in first for the 'Cats with a 17th place finish and a time of 25:31.8.

After the All-Ohio Championships, Ohio looks to compete in Louisville, Ky. at Pre-Nationals on Oct. 14.
