Senior Ellen Isaac Leads the Bobcat Women's Cross Country Team at NCAA Great Lakes Regionals

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Senior Ellen Isaac led the Bobcats at the first round of the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Cross Country Championships 6K this weekend (Nov. 11) hosted by Indiana State. The team placed 19th out of 31 teams with a final score of 513 points and the average time for the top-five finishers at 22:31. 

The Bobcats finished before Mid-American Conference schools Akron and Ball State.

Isaac (Mansfield, Ohio) came in first for the Bobcats finishing the race in 61st out of 223 runners with a 21:41.9 time. 

Junior Alyssa Atkinson (Granville, Ohio) followed after in 102nd place with a 22:33.0 time. 

Junior Madison Sury (Waterford, Ohio), sophomore Abby Miller (Mansfield, Ohio) and freshman Jessica Hartman (Lebanon, Ohio) rounded out the Bobcat scoring five with times of 22:34.4, 22:45.8 and 23:02.9 respectively. 

Junior Emily Deering (Geneva, Ohio) and freshman Hailey Bowes (Arlington Heights, Ill.) finished sixth and seventh for the Bobcats by finishing final times of 23:31.5 and 23:48.8.
