Ryan O'Connor joined Ohio Athletics in 2022 as the Associate Athletics Director for External Engagement.

O'Connor previously served at the Ohio University College of Business, where he worked since 2017, most recently as a Director of Development - Major Giving. In that role, O'Connor served as the chief development officer for the College of Business and managed a portfolio of 235 external constituents.

O'Connor spent three years as the assistant director of development for Ohio University's Central Development. He is not a stranger to the athletics department, as O'Connor served as an Ohio Bobcat Club graduate assistant in 2013-14.

O'Connor holds both his Master of Business Administration and Master of Sports Administration degree from Ohio, while he earned his undergraduate degree at Wright State.

A Brookville, Ohio native, O'Connor resides in Athens with his wife, Cimmeron and son, Charlie and his daughter, Lucy.
