#SpringSaleSaturday Set for April 8

Athens, Ohio – Bobcat fans are encouraged to mark their calendars for #SpringSaleSaturday on Saturday, April 8. The day will feature the annual equipment sale, in addition to a host of other events.

Equipment Sale: 12:00 p.m. ET

Peden Stadium gates will open at 12:00 p.m. ET, with free admission for all fans. The Ohio Equipment Sale will begin at 12:00 p.m. ET inside Gate 2. Items to be sold include game and practice jerseys, shorts, duffel bags, shoes, hoodies, jackets and more from each of Ohio’s 16 sports. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted at the sale. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as items are expected to sell out quickly.

Select-A-Seat: 12:00 p.m. ET

Ohio Football season tickets are now on sale for 2017, and fans will be able to meet with ticket sales representatives throughout the game outside Gate 1. Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to renew their seats as well as explore new seating locations for 2017. Click here or call 800-575-2287 to purchase tickets.

Softball vs. Ball State: 1:00 p.m. ET
Ohio Softball hosts Ball State in a doubleheader starting at 1:00 p.m. ET at the newly renovated Ohio Softball Field. All fans attending the Equipment Surplus Sale will receive a voucher for 2 free tickets to the softball and baseball games, with additional tickets just $5 at the gate. Fans are encouraged to stick around for a postgame autograph session with the team.

Football Open Practice: 2:00 p.m. ET

Fans can get a look at the 2017 Ohio Football team in this open practice. Admission is free and all seating inside Peden Stadium is general admission. The practice will conclude around 3:30 p.m. ET.

Baseball vs. Central Michigan: 3:00 p.m. ET

Head to Bob Wren Stadium for Ohio Baseball vs. Central Michigan at 3:00 p.m. ET. All fans attending the Equipment Surplus Sale will receive a voucher for 2 free tickets to the softball and baseball games, with additional tickets just $5 at the gate. Fans are encouraged to stick around for a postgame autograph session with the team.
