ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio athletic director Jim Schaus announced Friday a group of title changes for three members of the Bobcats athletic department.
“We are blessed to have such an outstanding staff,” said Schaus. “I wanted to especially recognize the accomplishments and loyalty of these staff members. They have truly made a difference.”
Dean has been with the athletic department since 1999 and was named the Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director in 2011.
She will continue her duties as the primary supervisor of the varsity field hockey, volleyball, wrestling, softball, and men's and women's golf programs, while also overseeing the sports medicine services, equipment, compliance, academic services, strength and conditioning, and facilities operations. She is also responsible for the personnel matters in the athletic department and serves as its senior women's administrator.
Duffy has been with Ohio since September 2007 where she started as an academic counselor for the Bobcats. Duffy, who earned both her undergrad and master's degrees from Ohio University, works with the volleyball, men's and women's golf and women's swimming & diving teams. Duffy also oversees the academic department, while serving as a liaison between the athletic department and the institution's faculty and staff.
Farmer has worked in the Ohio athletic department since he was an undergraduate at Ohio in 2003. Farmer was named Assistant Athletic Director – Facilities in July of 2008. Farmer oversees the operation and maintenance of the Ohio athletic facilities, oversees game operations and oversees all athletic construction projects.
