CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference has released its 2023-24 women's basketball conference schedule, the league announced today (Aug. 23). This year's conference schedule includes 18 in-league matchups with nine on the road and nine set to be played in the Convocation Center. 
 
The Bobcats open the conference slate in Athens on Wednesday, Jan. 3 when Ohio hosts Akron inside the Convo. The team immediately hits the road on Saturday, Jan. 6 when they head to Kent State to take on the Flashes. 
 
The Bobcats return to Athens on Wednesday, Jan. 13 to host Northern Illinois, before hitting the road for back-to-back games. First, Ohio heads to Toledo on Saturday, Jan. 13 to take on the defending MAC Champion Rockets, before heading to Kalamazoo, Mich. on Wednesday, Jan. 17 to battle it out with Western Michigan. 
 
Ohio returns to Athens for one game on Saturday, Jan. 20 to take on Eastern Michigan. The game will be a doubleheader with Ohio men's basketball. The Bobcats then are back on the road on Wednesday, Jan. 24 when they take on Central Michigan in Mount Pleasant. 
 
Ohio finally returns to the Convo for back-to-back games starting on Saturday, Jan. 27 when the Bobcats host Miami for the first round of the 'Battle of the Bricks,' before welcoming Buffalo on Wednesday, Jan. 31.
 
Ohio is back on the road for back-to-back games starting Saturday, Feb. 3 when they head to Muncie, Ind. to take on Ball State, before traveling to Bowling Green on Wednesday, Feb. 7. 
 
After a seven-day break following the second matchup of the MAC-SBC Challenge, Ohio hosts Ball State on Saturday, Feb. 17. Ohio is back on the Convo court on Wednesday, Feb. 21 when Kent State comes to Athens. 
 
After heading to Buffalo on Saturday, Feb. 24 to take on the Bulls, the Bobcats are back home for the final two home games of the season. After Ohio hosts Western Michigan on Wednesday, Feb. 28, the Bobcats welcome Central Michigan on Saturday, March 2 inside the Convocation Center. The game will be a doubleheader with Ohio men's basketball.
 
Ohio wraps up the 2023-24 regular season starting Wednesday, March 6 when they head to Akron to take on the Zips, before closing out the conference slate on Saturday, March 9 when Ohio and Miami battle it out for the final 'Battle of the Bricks.' 
 
The 2024 MAC Tournament will take place March 13, 15-16 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio. 
 
The Bobcats nonconference schedule, game times and TV selections will be released at a later date.
