NASSAU, Bahamas – The Ohio football team spent its first 24-hours on the island of Nassau getting acclimated, exploring the Atlantis Resort and had their first practice in Nassau in preparation for the 2017 Bahamas Bowl matchup against UAB.
Ohio arrived Monday just after lunchtime at Atlantis and after settling into the hotel got to spend some free time exploring the resort, laying poolside and swimming in the ocean.
The Bobcats and the Blazers met for the first time at the Welcome Reception which was hosted by the Bahamas Bowl Staff in the lobby of the Atlantis Resort.
Ohio then retired for the night and got going early in the morning on Tuesday with team meetings and their first practice.
The Bobcats practiced at the University of Bahamas soccer fields and began the acclimation process to the tropical temperatures in Nassau.
