ATHENS, Ohio -- Coverage of the Ohio football team's game at Pittsburgh starts tonight on the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield IMG College. Peoples Bank "Bobcat Roadtrip Live" airs from 6-7 p.m. ET from the visiting radio booth at Heinz Field.
Twelfth-year "Voice of the Bobcats" Russ Eisenstein and longtime analyst Rob Cornelius will set the scene for Saturday's game against the Panthers and re-live the 2005 overtime win over Pitt.
Former Bobcat and Kermit Blosser Ohio Athletics Hall of Famer Dion Byrum will joiin the show as will former "Voice" Derek Scott. Byrum had the interception and winning score in the '05 win and Scott had the call of it.
"These special shows surrounding big games and moments for Ohio Athletics have become a tradition," said Eisenstein. "We've done these for big non-conference games, championship games, bowl games and from the NCAA Tournament with Bobcat Basketball. The goal is to do all we can to 'infotain' fans and bring them along for the ride with us."
The show airs on network flagship station Power 105 (WXTQ, 105.5 FM) in southeast Ohio, tunein.com/ohiobobcats and on the Tunein ap.
Network coverage on Saturday starts at 10 a.m. ET with the kick at 11 a.m. ET.
