Ohio Notes

Austen Everson moved into sixth place in Ohio history in career passing yards (2,953) and fifth in career completions (242).

Scott Mayle moved into seventh place in Ohio history with 94 career receptions.

Kalvin McRae moved into 10th place in career rushing yards with 1,954.

Ohio gave up its first two fourth-down conversions in the first quarter. One on a fake punt (4th-and12), one on a run to the left (4th-and-two).

Matt Lasher connected on a career long 32 yard FG with 12:02 left in the second quarter. The FG was a career long for Lasher after missing a 48-yard attempt in the first quarter.

Michael Mitchell's tackle for a seven-yard loss was his second TFL this season and longest TFL of his career.

Matt Lasher's 59-yard punt to end the first half was a career-long.

Todd Koenig's tackle for a six yard loss was his second TFL of the season and the longest this year.

Rudy Sylvan's sixth catch of the game, a TD reception in the third quarter, was a new career high. Sylvan matched a career-best with one touchdown reception. He finished with career highs in both receptions (7) and receiving yards (79).

William Norwood's touchdown pass to Sylvan in the third quarter was the first of his career.

Justin Riley's 18-yard reception in the third quarter was his longest career reception and his second reception of the game, matching a career high.

Justin Fitzgerald's 20-yard reception was his longest of the season.

Tony Ward's eight tackle assists was a career high and his 11 total tackles matched a career high.

Bowling Green Notes

Bowling Green has now scored on four of five opening drives with their four yard TD run by Freddie Barnes with 7:12 left in the first quarter.

Bowling Green converted on two fourth down conversions to keep their opening scoring drive alive.

Freddie Barnes came in as quarterback two times in the first-half and rushed for both first-half TDs for Bowling Green. Barnes now has seven TD runs and one TD pass on the season. This was the fourth time Barnes has scored two TDs in a game this year.

Jahmal Brown recorded he first INT of his career on an Austen Everson pass that was tipped by Ohio's Rudy Sylvan.

Senior receiver Ruben Ruiz's wife, Rebecca, gave birth to a 6-lbs 2-oz baby boy this morning at 5:30am. Ruiz was with the team during the birth.

Chris Bullock's 30-yard fourth down run was the longest of his career. Bullock also scored his first TD of his career on a five yard run in the third quarter. Bullock ended the game with 21 carries and 114 yards which are both career highs.

Kenneth Brantley and Pete Winovich made their first career starts.

Today's game marked the first time this year that Bowling Green held its opponent scoreless in the first quarter. It was also the first time this year that Bowling Green did not allow a touchdown in the first-half.

Diyral Briggs recorded 1.5 sacks and leads the team with 3.5 sacks on the year.

Wide receiver Corey Partridge completed his first pass of the season to Freddie Barnes on a WR-option that went for 31 yards

Terrel White, the MAC tackles leader with 11.3 tackles per game, ended the game with 13 tackles.
