ATHENS, Ohio - With 60 days remaining before the football season opener against Gardner-Webb, Ohio athletics is embarking on its "60 Day Rush." The Ohio athletics department is calling on all Bobcat fans to do their part in spreading the excitement about Ohio football. You can help create the best home field advantage in the Mid-American Conference.
The Bobcats are looking to defend their MAC East Division title and return to a bowl for a second straight year. Over the past two seasons we have witnessed a 90-percent increase in season tickets sold. This year, season ticket sales are currently up 10-percent compared to last year. Peden Stadium is the place to be this fall!
Fans can join the 60 Day Rush Team and pledge to make a difference this season:
1. Hang posters and distribute schedule cards around popular venues in your town/city.
2. Actively distribute ticket brochures to friends, families and business associates. Spread the word on the Bobcat Family Package ... Four season tickets (2 adult and 2 youth ages 3-18) for only $89.
3. Compile a list of companies (contact names and numbers) you think would be interested in group outings at an Ohio football game.
Join today for one of the three categories to be a part of the 60 Day Rush Team. To sign up, please fill out the pledge form at the top of the page. You may also call 740-597-1374 to sign up or obtain more information.
"The Rush is On" starts Sept. 1 when the Bobcats take the field against Gardner-Webb.
