ATHENS, Ohio - The Bobcats will try to go 2-0 in MAC play for the first time since the 1999 season when they host Bowling Green at Peden Stadium on Saturday. Seniors Shane Yates (Martinez, Ga.) and J.J. Knabb (McMurray, Pa.) spoke to the media this week about the importance of Saturday's game.
In addition, the pair talked about the importance of playing a home game after three straight weeks on the road. Yates also addressed the similarities between the Missouri and Bowling Green offenses, while Knabb talked about what the offense must do to be successful in MAC play.
Today's highlights from this week's press conference also include Head Coach Frank Solich addressing some personnel issues, including on the defense and in the kicking game.
