ATHENS, Ohio - This week's episode of Bobcat Blitz features in-studio interviews with Defensive Line Coach Carl Pelini and junior running back Kalvin McRae. The show takes a look back at the Missouri game as well as previewing this week's showdown with Bowling Green.
The Bobcats will be going for their first 2-0 start in MAC play since the 1999 season. Ohio opened the MAC portion of its schedule with a 35-23 win at Northern Illinois on Sept. 9.
A victory against the Falcons would also stop a four-game losing streak in the series with Bowling Green. Ohio's last victory versus BGSU came on Nov. 11, 2000 at Doyt Perry Stadium.
Saturday's game is the first of two consecutive home games for the Bobcats. It is the only time all season Ohio will have two straight games in the friendly confines of Peden Stadium. The Bobcats will host Western Michigan at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7. For ticket information on all Ohio games, call 1-800-575-CATS.
