CLEVELAND - The Mid-American Conference has announced that Ohio's football game at Kent State on Saturday, Oct. 28 will be the MAC TV Game of the Week. The game will now begin at 2 p.m., rather than the originally scheduled 4 p.m.
The game will be produced by ESPN Regional Television and is scheduled to air live on Fox Sports Net Ohio and Time Warner 13 in Buffalo. The game will be shown on a same-day delay basis on Comcast Local in Michigan and Indiana and Comcast Sports Net Chicago. Michael Reghi will handle the play-by-play on the telecast, with Bob Chmiel adding analysis. Jeff Phelps will serve as the sideline reporter.
The addition of the Kent State game to the broadcast schedule brings the number of Bobcat games on television this season to six, including this Saturday's contest against Western Michigan which is also the MAC Game of the Week, and will be carried by the aforementioned stations. The Bobcats will also have their remaining games against Akron and Miami shown on ESPNU.
This Saturday's game against Western Michigan was originally scheduled for 7 p.m., but will kick off at noon after being selected as the MAC TV Game of the Week. Saturday's game, sponsored by Holzer Clinic, is also Youth Day presented by AEP. Children ages 3-18 can gain admission for just $5.
