ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio field hockey team will host its 2017 summer camp July 13-16 at Pruitt Field.
The camp will feature specialized individual instruction from 13th-year head coach Neil Macmillan, 2nd-year assistant coach Rachel McCarthy, and their staff, which includes a great collection of collegiate coaches, international players and collegiate players. The camp is highlighted by a creative and dynamic curriculum, advanced skill development, technical and tactical skill development, great player to coach ratio, specialized individual goalkeeping instruction and top rated facilities.
Camp cost ranges from $400-450.
Campers will utilize Pruitt Field, the brand new water-based turf of the Bobcats, and, if necessary, the field turf of Peden Stadium. All camp sessions will be conducted on artificial surfaces.
Certified athletic trainers will be available 24 hours a day to assess athlete needs.
Camp registration will be from 11 a.m,-1 p.m. ET the first day of camp. Parents and friends are welcome to watch camp, especially on the last day. No visitors will be permitted in the dormitories during camp. All campers are expected to abide by the Ohio University policies and camp rules. Campers are responsible for their equipment, property and rooms.
