AURORA, Ohio -- The Ohio men's golf team is tied for sixth place with Miami with a total team score of 603 (+27) through two rounds of the 2019 Mid-American Conference Championships, which were held today at Club Walden. The Bobcats improved on a first-round 310 (+22) with a second-round 293 (+5).

Kent State and Eastern Michigan are tied for first place through 36 holes of competition with matching total team scores of 581 (+5). Toledo senior Duncan McNeill leads the pack with a 139 (-5) after rounds of 71 (-1) and 68 (-4).

After weather conditions forced the postponement of play on Friday (April 26), the 2019 MAC Championships finally got underway on Saturday.

Sophomore Zach Crawford (Vandalia, Ohio) is leading the way for the Bobcats with a 149 (+5), putting him in a tie for 13th place. After shooting 78 (+6) in the first round, Crawford came back with a 71 (-1) to move up nine spots on the leaderboard.

Sophomore Zach Mandry (Solon, Ohio) shot two rounds of 75 (+3), tying him for 18th with a 150 (+6).

Sophomore Tanner Johnson (Venetia, Pa.) is tied for 26th with a 152 (+8) after posting round scores of 75 (+3) and 77 (+5).

Sophomore Austin Dyson (Dublin, Ohio) advanced one spot on the leaderboard, shooting a second-round 73 (+1) after a first-round 82 (+10). He is tied for 36th place with a 155 (+11). 

Senior Ben Sattler (Liberty Township, Ohio) is tied for 43rd after shooting a 74 (+2) in the second round.

The third and final round of the 2019 MAC Championships is scheduled to get underway at 8:30 a.m. ET on Sunday (April 28).
