ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio men's golf team is back on the links this weekend (Sept. 14-15), visiting Richmond, Ky., for the 2019 EKU Intercollegiate Sponsored By Raising Cane's at the University Club-Arlington.

The EKU Intercollegiate will open with a shotgun start on Saturday (Sept. 14) at 8:30 a.m. ET, with 36 holes being played. The final 18 holes will be contested on Sunday (Sept. 15) beginning with a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start. The tournament is being held at the University Club at Arlington, which is a par-70, 6,623-yard course. The Bobcats are set to compete against host Eastern Kentucky, Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Evansville, Morehead State, Murray State, Northern Kentucky, SIUE, Tennessee at Martin, Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech.

Ohio opened up the 2019-20 season with a 14th-place finish at the 2019 Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational earlier this week (Sept. 9-10) at Guyan Golf and Country Club in Huntington, W. Va. The Bobcats combined for a three-round team total of 889 (+37) after posting rounds of  303 (+19), 293 (+9) and 293 (+9). Junior Zach Crawford (Vandalia, Ohio) was the high finisher for the Bobcats, using a final-round 72 (+1) to move up into a tie for 59th place with a three-round total of 220 (+7). He was tied for 70th on Monday after rounds of 73 (+2) and 75 (+4). Making their collegiate debuts for Ohio at the tournament were freshmen Felipe Darquea (Quito, Ecuador) and Jack Towarnicky (New Bern, N.C.).

Ohio will close out the month of September and open the month of October in Akron, Ohio, at the Firestone Invitational (Sept. 30-Oct. 1).
