Athens, Ohio—The Ohio women's golf team will compete in its final tournament before the 2018 Mid-American Conference Tournament Saturday, April 7 through Sunday, April 8 when it competes in the 2018 Dolores Black Falcon Invitational hosted by Bowling Green. The two-day, 36-hole tournament will take place on the 5,829-yard golf course at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Par is set at 72, with the first round set to begin Saturday, April 7, at 12 p.m. with a shotgun start. Round two will begin on Sunday, April 8 with an 11 a.m. shotgun start.
This year's event will see 16 teams, including Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cleveland State, Detroit, Eastern Michigan, Findlay, Illinois-Chicago, Indianapolis, Lawrence, Oakland, Ohio, Toledo, Western Michigan and Youngstown State.
Last year, at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational, the Bobcats claimed first place in the tournament. In that showing, Ohio shot a 310 on Sunday to finished the tournament with a two-day total of 615 (+39). Bowling Green would come as the runner-up, with a 36-hole score of 630 (+54).
The Bobcats are coming off an eighth-place finish at the 2018 Colonel Classic hosted by Eastern Kentucky at the University Club at Arlington. Ohio finished with a second-round score of 314, closing out the tournament with a total of 617 (+41). Senior Pendy led the way for the Bobcats with a score of 77, giving her a two-round total of 153 (+9) to tie for 28thplace.

After the 2018 Dolores Black Falcon Invitational, the Bobcats will head to Naperville, Ill. April 20-22, for the 2018 MAC Tournament hosted by Northern Illinois at Naperville Country Club.
