NAPERVILLE, Ill. –The Ohio women's golf team wrapped up the second day of the 2018 Mid-American Conference Championships, hosted by Northern Illinois at the Naperville Country Club, in eighth place. The Bobcats finished the day shooting a 315, giving them a two-round total of 634 (+58).
Kent State sits in first place after day two with a total of 567 (-9).
Leading Ohio is senior Lily Pendy (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.) who sits tied for 22ndplace after shooting a 77 on Saturday, finished the day with a two-day total of 157 (+13). Junior Nicole Smiley (Dublin, Ohio) also wrapped up the day tied for 22ndplace after also shooting a 77, finishing with a two-round total of 157 (+13).
Junior Emily Hughes (Columbus, Ohio) finished the day tied for 27thplace after shooting a second-round score of 83, finishing with a two-round total of 159 (+15).
Freshman Ashley Flynn (Dublin, Ohio) returned to action for the second day of competition by shooting a 78 to finish the day with a two-round total of 166 (+22) and tied for 42ndplace.
Rounding out the Bobcats is sophomore Marissa Balish (Allison Park, Pa.), who finished Saturday with an 85, giving her a two-day total of 168 (+24), tying her for 48thplace.
